Having just viewed Lars von Trier's Nymph()maniac Volume 1, I went over to see reviews of the second volume. It appears that multiple fake accounts have been made for the exclusive purpose of writing poor reviews of both volumes.
Each of these accounts have a have been made in the past month, reviewed the two volumes at one star (in addition to at most one other movie), and provided roughly the same criticisms in the same writing style. Moreover, they all have account pictures of faces and have included country information, which is highly unlikely for so many accounts. These have been voted the most useful reviews, though I suspect this is because each account voted up each other account.
When I was looking for reviews of the movie, I wanted a real insight into the quality of the film I am about to watch, not a bunch of trolls spewing useless drivel.
Can the reviews be removed, or the accounts deleted? The accounts include: DutchmanfromAmsterdam, KateLiza777, truthfulcritic, CarlosEspagna, PrettyYoungLady, Mitzvah7, Maria17777, DianaIsAnAmericanLady, Goodandtruthfulgirl, Avi7187, PowerfulTruth, sexylad, CuteMan, GoodHandsomeLad, and ThePower1.

I haven't looked at all of these reviews but most of them appear to be technically in compliance with our content guidelines (I won't comment on the merits of the reviews as worthy pieces of film criticism)
Unless the content of the reviews is in violation of our rules or otherwise objectionable, there isn't a compelling reason to remove them. If the reviews contain abusive content, they should be reported via the 'Report' feature. If not, and they are simply deemed to be poorly written or not useful, you can cast a vote against them and this will influence their placement/visibility.

Thank you for looking at these reviews. I came to a similar conclusion that the reviews are poorly and incoherently written but still fall within IMDb's terms and conditions.
It still appears that these accounts were solely created to negatively rate and review Lars von Trier's Nymph()maniac Volumes I and II. Whether these accounts were created by like minded individuals or by one individual may be difficult to determine. Regardless, since all of these users have rated four or less films, they are unlikely to be considered regular voters and thus their ratings will not like influence the overall rating of the film.
