Standalone names shouldn't be keywords

The keywords guide (https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/keywords/GXQ22G5Y72TH8MJ5?ref_=helpms_helpart_inli...#) states that standalone names shouldn't be keywords. However, even most of the examples given in the guide (marilyn-monroe, tony-blair, tom-cruise, albert-einstein) are currently all keywords. Because they probably shouldn't be deleted outright but instead be merged into a more proper keyword (for example a reference-to-keyword), I've listed some standalone names here for contributors who want to try and fix this mess. (if this proves useful, I'll add more.)
For staffers: Is it possible to have a block for the names mentioned below so that a red warning will appear whenever someone tries to enter these as a keyword? That way, these misguided contributors can be pointed toward the guide and create a more suitable keyword.

I have been working on correcting these with the "-character" addendum or, "reference-to-" intro, or, if they appeared in the title, with a cast addition, when appropriate, but there are hundreds-of-thousands, perhaps millions of  such keywords with this problem.   This also includes the names of fictional characters.  Others, please join in to deal with this problem.  Don't just try to depend on the staff to correct this, because they probably don't have the time. This cannot be accomplished in an encompassing way without an audit or every incorrect "stand alone name" keyword.
P.S. This problem was particularly ascerbated with the deletion of the Characters section.

As a test, I looked into the seven titles for Leon Trotsky.  Three were deleted because the name was already in the cast list (archive footage), one was deleted because it already  had the "reference-to-" keyword (an apparent duplication), and one was changed to the "reference-to-" keyword.  With the remaining two, I could not determine what would be the correct keyword.  The cast lists are very brief, so the name may be a character name or need a "reference-to-" keyword.  I left those for further research.

This illustrated how complex this concern can be.

I'm currently working through a similar problem. I've been changing all the creatures that appear in the godzilla universe from "rodan" to "rodan-character". I think I've gotten most of the monsters but still a pain.

Use the keyword albert-einstein-character to find the titles about Albert Einstein in which he was portrayed by an actor.  For titles with actual footage of the real Albert Einstein, one would go to Albert Einstein's "name" page.  One could also go to the keyword reference-to-albert-einstein for titles that mention his name or just have a photograph of him.

And...one could also refer to keywords like albert-einstein-impersonation, albert-einstein-quotation, allbert-einstein-lookalike, albert-einstein-costume, etc.

In addition, films about specific people can be included in biographical details and appear on the Publicity page.

I have been working on another IMDb keyword project, but wlll hopefully get back to this.  All need to be individually audited, not, heaven forbid, just changed or deleted.

This supports my long-held belief that IMDb will ALWAYS be open-ended and in a state of flux.

Jane Austen, anyone?  (Her name is a keyword for 64 titles.)

One could argue everything people do is open-ended and in state of flux. Doesn't mean we should stop. ;)

I'm hardly stopping.  I just wish that more people would engage in conscientious auditing.

It's very time-consuming and tedious since the work must be done one title at a time  for usually only one change or deletion.

I'll add her next time around. :)
I appreciate all the work you do on keywords Bradley. It's really a pity IMDb doesn't support keywords contributors as much as they should: the names mentioned in this thread should get a red warning if someone tries to add them to a title. Otherwise, this problem will never completely go away...
