This has bugged me for a while now. In the cast listing for each episode, there is a listing that looks like this:
As Himself C1-10P a.k.a. 'Chopper'
This is never listed in IMDb (and yeah, I'm partly to blame because I never knew what to do with this credit.) Should it be listed? If dogs, bears and inanimate objects can be listed, why not a fictional robot playing himself?

Will, to me these aren't similar cases. After all, somewhere there exists a volleyball (or volleyballs) that were actually shown on screen. Wilson is an actual physical object. Chopper is not. He doesn't exist anywhere off the screen. I cannot think of another instance where an animated character is listed as being himself. (After all, there has to be an actual person that makes the noise that Chopper makes on screen.)
I wish I had asked before season 4. That's a lot of corrections (and season 1 was credited differently than the rest of the seasons, at least that is what I recalled.)

Hi Will,
So I went ahead and added these credits to season 4 of Star Wars: Rebels. They showed up for a brief period of time but I forgot the (voice) attribute. I went back and added it and now they have all disappeared. What happened?

It is an animated show, so I'm not sure how any actual person could be credited as Himself. I have no idea if that other Star Wars show is considered the same "person".
