Stunning Lack of Support from IMDB!

I cannot believe the inhumanity of IMDB staff. Someone listed me as having 2 jobs on a video that I DID NOT PERFORM. When I try to tell IMDB that these credits are not correct, they tell me that they are "unable to verify."  Uh, BECAUSE THE VIDEO DOESN'T EXIST, THAT'S WHY!  It's not for sale, never has been, and isn't even on youtube.  You cannot verify something that doesn't exist. I never did those jobs (I don't even know what one is), yet IMDB refuses to remove them. I'm listed as a sound operator and video something-or-other, which I have never in my life done. WHY WON'T THEY REMOVE THESE OBVIOUSLY BOGUS CREDITS? Either they just sent ma a robot reply or they have no sense of irony. It's positively Orwellian -- HOW CAN YOU NOT REMOVE SOMETHING WHICH DOESN'T EXIST?

Baffling!

Dvid: Did you just try to delete your own credit, or the entire title? If the video doesn't exist, you should try to request deletion of the entire title.  To do this, go to https://help.imdb.com/contact. Click "IMDb Fan/Contributor questions", then "Titles", then "Delete a title", then click "E-mail". On the next screen, you will get a form where you can enter the information about the title and why it should be deleted, and then click "Send e-mail'.

If you already tried this, or if you need more assistance, please provide all the details about the title and what you have tried already.

Hi Dvid,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you feel that way.

If you can provide more information around your request, we can look into this further for you.

Any subission references or title/name URL's will help.

Thanks,

Joel
