submission partly accepted, partly declined

My recent posts here have expressed frustration with quotes/trivia submissions being declined for reasons I can't figure out. (My issues with these incidents have been partially resolved, not completely.) I noticed today a weirdness which I haven't seen before, and which needs a new thread. I submitted a trivia change #191207-185025-414000 for an existing Trivia entry which was really three (3) different Trivia items in one post. For the original post, I submitted a "Correction" in which I deleted the second and third separate Trivia items, then submitted two new Trivia posts for the two I had deleted from the original post. The original Correction was declined, while one of the two additions was approved (the other declined). That left the weirdness: the new accepted Trivia item was still in the original post - and therefore, now duplicated on the page. This may have been my mistake of 'process' (i.e., doing it
the wrong way), but I don't know how else I could have done this complex correction.
As usual, I need help.

The best way is to submit #2 and #3 and wait for approvals for both, then submit the correction to the overly long three part (#1) original and site in the explanation box the approved new #s 2 & 3 contribution #s for the two additions. That way the editors can "SEE" what you have done and why. It is very hard to think in abstract terms for some people in a span of less that a minute. If it is too confusing for the editor to "Wrap" his or her head around, then a rejection occurs.
Use the K.I.S.S. method. You can't go wrong!

This is very helpful and, I'm sure, good advice. Thanks.
