Submissions not approved or approved only in part

I have been updating films made by Merton Park Productions, based on novels/ stories by Edgar Wallace. Theses have been broadcast on Australian television, on a weekly basis.

The films were second features shown as part of a double bill on the ABC cinema circuit in the UK. They were later sold to American TV, packaged as The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre (1960) (TEWMT).  As such, IMDB should have two entries for each film – as a stand-alone entity and as an episode of TEWMT.

I have been submitting updates since June 13th, based on the broadcasts of episodes of TEWMT. I have two questions about my submissions.

1. Why are some submissions for new titles not yet approved?

Some of the broadcasts have only one entry on IMDB (as part of TEWMT). I have submitted new entries for these films as stand-alone entities.

2. Why are some of my other submissions not yet accepted or accepted only in part?

Cast changes form the majority of my submissions, either modification of the cast order or the character name. Sixteen submissions have been accepted in full, whereas another nineteen are not yet approved in full.

Observation: if I correct a character name, often the order number is removed and the cast member drops to the end of the list.
