RE: 3 May 2019
#190503-082654-030000

On May 3rd 2019, I submitted a Incorrectly regarded as goof for Avengers: Endgame (2019).   The estimated processing date is given as 7th May 2019.   After a few days, I'd checked on the status of Tracked Contribution and it said "Approved".

I've checked back on May 7th, still not there.   I waited for 7 days just in case, May 10th and still not there.

Do I need to resubmit?   How long before it shows up on IMDB for Avengers:Endgame webpage?

Could it be in the ”Spoiler” section? In mobile view, spoilers are ”hidden”. Spoilers should always be avoided, whether it’s a trivia or a goof.

I've checked all sections, mobile and desktop web versions.  Not there.   It is related to a goof that was part a "Spoiler".

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your post and contribution.

What you're seeing is the result of a rare quirk of IMDb's submission interface. You submitted a correction to a goof which already had a pending correction against it - when this other request was approved, it meant your update was no longer tied to the same goof anymore and it returns the result you saw.

I can see when you submitted your request the goof was under the Plot holes section, it's now under the Incorrectly regarded as goofs section which helps to confirm the change.

If you'd still like to contribute a change to this item, you will need to re-submit it again.

Thanks for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks Joel for the explanation.

Yes, I would like to re-submit my correction.  But how?   As you have indicated, the original plot hole goof has already changed to an Incorrectly regarded as goofs correction.   You can't submit a Incorrectly regarded as goof on its own.  Do I re-submit my correction to the correction?  Did I lose out because someone else submitted another correction to the same goof first?   I think my correction is a better explanation.

Let me know how I can re-submit.   Thanks

Peter
