There is still one film that was added to the list but is missing from IMDb, I'll complete the list once it is accepted into the database.

Pencho15,

I look forward to this poll suggestion on an annual basis.

I found this film, which is currently missing from IMDb interesting:

George Washington Carver at Tuskegee Institute (1937)
Allen Alexander, an African American surgeon from Michigan, convinced George Washington Carver to allow him to shoot 16 mm color footage of the famed botanist and inventor at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. Alexander wisely shot the film using gloriously resilient Kodachrome, ensuring the colors remain stunningly vibrant and rich. The 12 minutes of fascinating amateur footage include scenes of Carver in his apartment, office and laboratory, as well as images of him tending flowers and displaying his paintings. Also included is footage of a Tuskegee Institute football game and the school’s marching band and majorettes. The National Archives has digitized the film as part of its multi-year effort to preserve and make available the historically significant film collections of the National Park Service. The footage can be seen on NARA’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_yn6Qz81Y8.

Dan, I submitted the film to the IMDb just after creating the poll, and today it has been added https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11428288/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I'll include it now in the list to have the poll ready to go.

I'll also watch it in the afternoon in the link you provide so it can be voted.

They're all worthy but 'The Last Waltz' is outstanding!

Sleeping Beauty!  One of my favorite animated Disney movies and definitely one of the best princess films.

Good poll! My vote will probably be 'The Fog of War' or maybe 'Old Yeller,' 'Boys Don't Cry,' 'Amadeeus,' or 'Gaslight;' tough choice. I always love these polls you do for the National Registry.

May I suggest two small edits to the intro? (below in bold)

Which of them do you consider the one with the most historical or aesthetic value?

Sure Ruby, it's done.

Perhaps I should check all my previous National Film Registry poll. I copied the question and description, so they must need the same corrections.

I would've bet on it!
It's my TV Prequel Poll that surprised me.
I put no special effort in picking the top 5 Poster Images that would be on the Home Page.
I do do that on polls that I think have a chance. But that one no.

Did you arrange the top 5 in anticipation? Or not?

Not particullary. I read an article and just added the four highlited films at the top, and then followed the alphabetical list at the Library of Congress, but I would have done the same in any other suggestion. If I expected it to have a chance I would have probably added Platoon or Clerks. instead of Purple Rain.
