Now that Daniel Craig has been confirmed to star in one last Bond film, let's get to the next most important part of the film...picking the performer of the theme song. Ok...so it's not THAT important, but the two of the last five Oscars for best original song have gone to Bond films.

So, which of these well-known (mostly British) performers would you like to see break into the Bond theme business with Bond 25?

"Never Say Never Again", I will believe it when it is done deal that this is his last Bond. If he is willing to do one for money, despite hating the role, he would be willing to do another. $150 million for two films will allow you to spend the rest of your life doing passion projects. http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/09/daniel-craig-james-bond-paycheck-150-million

I like the poll idea. It certainly is a "badge of honor" as a British artist to have performed the theme in a Bond film. I am not sure if this speculation, the Bond producers preference or something else altogether. It has been reported by multiple news sources earlier in the month. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/daniel-craig-james-bond-return-adele-song_uk_59636376e4b02e9bdb0de63c Regardless, it is always fun poll takers choose their favorite.

There's a number of great possibilities here. Björk at first glance seems rather incongruous with the Bond franchise, but under the right circumstances that could be absolutely brilliant. Radiohead would also be an interesting choice, though I don't exactly see them accepting the gig. I'd also like to see what Beck or Aimee Mann would dream up for the Bond franchise. And since there's already talk of bringing back alumnus Adele, why not consider even more classic contributors like Tom Jones or Tina Turner?

I'm presuming there will be no repeat offenders. Will add Beck and Aimee, though they see like pretty long shots. Never know though...

Oh yes, I'd be shocked if they were even on the drawing board next to the drawing board. But how fabulous it would be...

'Interesting question. Sia might come up with something equally interesting. My vote would go to Aimee Mann, though.

FYC:

Adele (She wouldn't be my pick, or even among my choices, but I really can't see not including her.)

This might make an interesting homepage poll but #1 and #2 probably wouldn't crop well. Perhaps swap places with Beyonce, Florence & the Machine, or, Robbie Williams? (Those photos would crop well.)

Oh, I found out that you're not including artists who have already done work for a Bond film and that Adele had. Oops. :)

Rihanna
Lana del Rey

I can't see Michael Bolton as a contender.

I looked up who critics and fans think should do the next theme song and so many of them include Lana del Rey

FYC:

U2 (Bono & Edge wrote a Bond song that someone else performed but it wasn't all of U2 & they didn't perform it)
Seal
Fiona Apple (she's on a few lists I saw from critics and/or Bond fans)
Moby (on  a few lists too)
Alanis Morissette (on a few lists too)
Sinead O'Connor
Tori Amos (she lives in England now) (can't imagine it but, wow, that'd be really interesting)
Christina Aguilera (I read that she's rumored to be the next "Bond girl" and to also contribute to the soundtrack, although most of what I saw said Beyonce is rumored to be doing the theme song)
Bruce Springsteen (can't see him doing it but it'd be interesting)

I found this list that doesn't include any of the names above: http://www.beyondthestagemagazine.com/007-artists-next-bond-song/

Your list is not really "mostly British", at least not anymore.
