One-hundred fifty years after its initial publication, two more adaptations of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel Little Women are being released, joining several earlier versions. This time it will air as a three-part miniseries on PBS as part of the Masterpiece series and as a film retold in a modern setting.

Well, it was dubbed in Arabic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqCifw7ItR4) ... and I saw the French version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZ5HOF1dDMI) I see your point though but seriously, this World Masterpiece Theater project has brought some of the best adaptations of classic books ever, among them The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Little Princess Sarah, the most emotionally devastating animated series ever, damn the ending of that second episode...

Why is Nybyggarna (1972) (The New Land) in your list?

Also the single line breaks in your descriptions won't hold, so I suggest separating each line with commas.

I have no idea. Now I feel like maybe I was adding that title to another list and I screwed up and put it on the end of this list instead. :/

I've had mixed results with line breaks. Sometimes it seems to work and sometimes not. I'd like to leave it this way as an experiment to see how it comes out.

Thanks. The June Allyson version is my fave, even though most of them are too old to be playing teenagers. Peter Lawford's Laurie is pretty hot.

It wouldn't be fair to Greta Gerwig's version to appear in this 2+ year old poll. It would be so far behind the curve. Time's like this? It's best to close these out of date polls and reboot it with the latest entries. But that's my opinion.
