How do you go about listing old titles on IMDb? There's a 1962 instructional training film called TEAR GAS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT that is not listed on IMDb. TCM airs it fairly frequently and it's available on YouTube as well. The short film was used to train police officers on tear gas use. It was sponsored by Lake Erie Chemical Company.

You can add it using this form:

https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=title

I've done this for a few shorts that aired on TCM. However, you do need to know quite about the production in order for it to get listed. If you can't or don't want to add it, I can take a look at adding it.

I was bored and found the movie online. As expected, there was no cast or crew information available. I did use the form above to add the title; however, I had to use the "provide an explanation" checkbox which means I couldn't provide enough information. I'm not sure it will get added.

I think they will. I did send them a link with the entire film. There's just not a lot of available information. I googled to see if I could find more without much luck.

”However, you do need to know quite about the production in order for it to get listed.”

Usually if the film is in Youtube (or similar sites) or you can provide some links/screenshots (meaning that you have access to the film), it’s pretty hard for IMDb to ignore it. Sure, the more info the better (obviously), but link to the actual film is often ”enough” proof.
