I am a regular contributor to IMDb as I work in the film industry. However it seems that although other information that I submit is added with varying update times, anything I submit in the Technical Specs section is never added. And I do mean never. For months I have been submitting technical information, both on it's own and as part of larger submissions, and literally none of it has ended up on IMDb.
This is extremely frustrating. I work in the industry, I am credited as a Post Production Supervisor on many of the films I have submitted technical information for. I literally oversaw the post production process for these films first-hand and yet apparently my submissions to IMDb in this regard are being completely dismissed.
In the case of other films that I did not work on, but have submitted information for, the information has been gathered from either talking directly to someone who worked on post for that film, or from reliable sources such as interviews or technical publications regarding those films.
There must be some explanation for this. Why literally zero? It's as if the submissions are just being thrown out. There are films I have worked on that have no technical specs listed at all, and I have submitted detailed and accurate information that has never been added. Getting this information from me is getting it directly from the horse's mouth so to speak. This needs to be fixed.
