Before I start a new thread on a message board I keep seeing warning messages from imdb.com about reading terms and conditions. Should I be worried about committing a violation? Will those warning messages stop?

Is this the message you're referring to?
Thank you for posting on the IMDb message boards. Before writing your message please make sure you are familiar with the terms and conditions. You may also find a visit to our boards help pages useful.

If so, you don't have anything to worry about. That message has been implemented on all replies on the forums, and will probably not disappear. Of course, you should always adhere to the terms and conditions when posting messages, to avoid real warnings and bans.

If you mean this one:

Please remember to ensure all your postings are made in compliance with our terms and conditions. Please pay particular attention to the rules in section #2 and the punishments in section #3. In the event of a violation, IMDb may remove your entire posting history, not only the messages which are specifically in violation and your account may be permanently blocked from posting.

It means you've been reported by another user. However, no one tells us for what. It's up to us to figure out why.
