Hi, I don't want to preserve my previous name '(as... )' as attibute. My profile should only read my updated name Jean Yves Andre since the attribute name is incorrect. Is that possible?

Good point. What about futur credits? If i declare as Jean Yves Andre, will the attribute (as Jean-Yves André) always appear as well?

If the future credits have you as Jean Yves Andre, then no "as" attribute should appear as the onscreen credit matches the name listed for you on IMDb. The "as" attribute should only be used when the onscreen credit do not match the name that is in IMDb.
But can i remove the name attribute? I find it clusters the page u know?

You should be able to edit that and remove the attribute. As an aside, since that production is in post-production, it should not have any "as" attributes because those are only valid after the official release. (or if you don't know how to edit it, I can remove it for you.)
Yes please do so. The (as...) is already filled up with Jean-Yves André greyed out so if you could that'd be appreciated!

I submitted the edit for you, using the picture above as reference. Hopefully, it is accepted by the data editors and will be live on the site shortly.
Frankly in my case it's only for Among friends and ''Le séducteur..'' that we should keep the (as...) name. The Movies Karla, Aeris and Next big thing are credited as Jean Yves Andre

Also i've tried redirecting ''Le Séducteur...'' Miscellaneous Crew to Sound department as sound mixer which is accurate but i couldn't get rid of the old Miscellaneous Crew tab. Is that possible to clarify this? Because now i'm credited on 2 things as opposed to 1

Jean, I have submitted corrections for Karla and Next Big Thing to remove the "as" attribute. I have also submitted a delete request for Le Séducteur out of the Misc crew section, since it is already in the sound department.
