The Butterfly Ball (1977) apparently attacked by trolls/bots?

Although I have seen this issue raised several times before, I have, until this point, ignored fake reviews for many titles and never reported any.  However, I was curious about a title called The Butterfly Ball because it appears that a bunch of fake accounts were created to purposely crash the score.  Several obviously fake accounts were created with the sole purpose of leaving a review and 1 star rating for the film.  All five of the reviews (written on exactly the same day) sound as if they were written by the exact same person.

There are only 328 votes by US or non-US users and a ridiculous 2,604 votes by unaffiliated voters.  I realize that not everybody registers their country but I have never seen any title that comes anywhere near those numbers.  Can you possibly go into the vote history of that title and see if it was inundated by a flood of fake voters?  Thanks!

For a title that is about a music concert from the psychedelic era, nothing there seems to be out of line. Think of the people that are rating this. Their music tastes are a little out of the mainstream. I listened to the beginning of this on You tube. BOOOORING. I rated it myself a 1.
At the time it was new, and if the IMDB and the internet existed I would have rated it a 1 in my 20's too!

Oh and my country and gender are N.O.Y.B. nor IMDb's!

Well, my concern wasn't that it has a lot of 1s.  I have never seen it and have no opinion about it.  I was only bringing up this specific title because there was such obvious fraudulent voting activity on it.  I am very happy for you keeping your gender and country a secret.  That is very special of you.  Some people do.  It is just that the percentage is ridiculously high for this specific title.  WAY higher than any normal title.

...and this is also why I rarely even bother posting here.  It is the same cabal of a handful of users who often leave obnoxious, unhelpful responses.  What a great community!

You missed my point entirely. It IS not a normal title. It is not a Movie. It is a concert. It is very poorly done. It has very weird music that is out of the mainstream. It has very understandable numbers because of this "abnormality".

I am very happy for you keeping your gender and country a secret.  That is very special of you.

And special has nothing to do with it. Statistical data can be used for marketing purposes. Why make it easier for advertisers?

You can of course do what you want, but do you really feel you should vote for a title if you've only seen a few minutes?
