The episode date is more than 90 days away - how to submit supporting evidence

I notice that if you submit a title with an anticipated release date more than 90 days into the future (eg 2018), you get a warning "The episode date is more than 90 days away" which you have to acknowledge. You are asked to "include some web evidence with your submission".

But how would you like this to be done for an episode of an existing TV programme? I expected an extra field where a URL could be pasted. I submitted a Misc Comment of type In Production, since there isn't a type Title to say "yes, this title exists - here is the evidence".

It's easy for a brand new title, when there is a Evidence box, but this isn't offered for an episode.

In the same update submission, you can add or update the data in the Release Dates section and provide proof in the Miscellaneous Corrections section. Just click the down arrow and change the Type from Choose to Release dates.

If the proof is a press release that is available over the web, provide the URL link in the Comment section. If the proof has information that was not meant to be seen by the public, I would suggest posting the data on a download site like Dropbox and provide a private URL link.

I hope this helps. Please write back if you have any more questions.

Hi Martin -

Within the new episode title form you will need to tick the box next to "Warning understood, go ahead anyway."  Then at the bottom of the form tick the box next to "To add more data for categories that aren't listed above, select this box" and click on the "Re-check These Updates" button:

The full form will then display, you will need to scroll down to the "Other Corrections" section and in the drop-down menu next to "Miscellaneous Comments" select 'Add 1 comment' and click on the "Re-check these updates" button.  You will then be able to submit a comment to our staff alongside your submission, you can use the "URLS Titles" Type.

Continue following the form instructions to enter all the relevant episode data and submit your new episode title request.
