The IMDB Show video at the top of every page is way too disruptive! So from now on that huge window with the video will be the top of every page? There should definitely be a way to remove that in the preferences.

I use IMDB for all the information on each movie/show page the credits, filming locations, trivia.  That's why IMDB is a great and fast resource.  I don't care ANYTHING about the IMDB Show and if I wanted to watch something like that I would use Youtube!  Even if no sound is playing from the video it's so massive that it's disruptive and in the way of what I really want to look at!

I doubt anyone will listen to me and it will just be there forever now.  I have spent time adding filming locations to this site and it's annoying to see something like this happen.

Sorry about this.  It sounds like some misconfigured advertising.  Please can you upload a screen-grab here and give an example URL or two where it is appearing?

Thank you for your feedback.  We’re always trying out new ad experiences to improve the user experience on the IMDb site and app. This ad experience was planned to only run for 24 hours so you should no longer see the same experience.  We appreciate your input and will take this back to my team to review.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Thank You!.

For getting rid of that accursed autoplaying vid (The IMDB Show?) that was running and then restarting every time I tried to check out a show.
Please, no autoplays. Ever.

You can probably disable autoplaying in your web browser.
