Trying to contribute info for parents in the parents guide. Tried clicking edit but it keeps taking me to a window with no options to add, correct, etc... This site is egregious. If I was getting paid based on the amount of time I spend trying to navigate IMDb's site I would have enough to pay rent. Absolutely egregious !

Have you completed "additional authentication" of your account?  IIUC, some IMDb content (including parents guides) can only be edited by users whose accounts have been authenticated.

This page provides information about authentication:
http://www.imdb.com/help/additional_authentication

To begin authentication, first make sure that you are logged-in to your IMDb.com account, and then click the link on the aforementioned page where it says:  "... To sign up simply follow this link."    That link leads to:
https://secure.imdb.com/account-imdb/ext_auth?si=m&u=%2F

There you'll see further instructions to begin authentication.

From other discussions I understand that some users have sometimes encountered some difficulties with the authentication procedure.  I hope you won't encounter any problems with it, but the only way to find out is to go ahead and give it a try.

After successful authentication you should be granted access to submit edits to parents guides (and other areas that require authentication).
