Why fix what ain't broken? I mean why fix break what was fine before you messed with it? I'm talking about the new editor.
I corrected someone's limited-knowledge trivia this am (read: not entirely accurate) and decided to add the obvious goof. That's when I was met with the dreadful new editor; same thing as it was, except everything scrambled, boxes out of alignment, I need to stretch my wrist a tad to reach up for the "choose" drop arrow for "goofs type" and why should my right wrist get more exercise than the left? (Next thing I know, one will be longer!)
All goofiness aside, I re-read my trivia after it posted and I thought I'd use a different noun or verb to polish up my sentence and avoid repetition. That's when - horror and sacrilege! - after we've come so far, baby, I see that my published new trivia was not available for correction: we were back at square 1, back when we had to wait 24 hrs or more because the old (uncorrected) trivia is what you got when you clicked "edit" for a typo or grammar fine tuning.
As denouement, I checked back and was able to access my own trivia for fine-tuning but why the change? TOTALLY unneeded. Please don't mess with us: I'm too old for this! This is an affront to the blind and the lazy. My subconscious knows where everything is, if you change it on me... let me put it this way: how would you like it if I came into your driveway, during the night, and you woke up to your gas pedal having become the brakes and vice-versa! (^○^)
Same principle! Why would I do that to your car?? Because I'm afraid to get fired if I don't make it obvious I'm working, so I switch YOUR stuff around?? If I'm that desperate, I could have washed your car instead and filled up your tank, no waddam sayin'? There's TONS of things you could fix that need fixing, (ie: celeb & film photos that are out of focus at show/film's homepage & need replacing) but don't mess with what works, PLEASE! Otherwise, people are gonna quit working for free. It's a hobby; you make it tedious, it ceases to be fun and we gonna unionize and demand payment! :-P
Here be a screen cap of my gripe:

"Choose" drop-box used to be at left of big rectangle, and properly aligned, as it ought to (still) be! (⊙_⊙)
I did not take a screencap of the previous trivia not updating to mine instantly but both things came as a package. Somebody need to grab the UNDO button and restore. Or else, IMDb staff, please post your driveway address: I'd like to tinker with your rearview mirror to face all the way up and left, then push your driver seat all the way forward, and see how ya like 'em mine apples! ^O^ First world problems? Perhaps! Annoying all the same... (°ο°)
