The number is episodes for "Stranger Things" is 17, not 19, but I am unable to submit this correction.

I have been trying to submit a simple correction to the "Stranger Things" page.  The correction is that there are currently 17 episodes, not 19.  I am unable to submit this because you overly strict submission robot will not recognize that there is no category for this and wants me to submit to a specific episode (this is not a specific episode problem).

I'm not sure why it is showing 19 episodes. There are currently 17 episodes and someone has added a placeholder for the first episode of season 3, which has already been announced, so there should be 18 episodes, not 17 or 19.

The main page for a TV show is mostly constructed from the underlying data attached to the episodes, mostly :-).   There are some data fields which are specific to the main series, but when you cannot obviously correct something there, the first thing to do is think about whether it has been summarized from the episodes, as in this case.

This was very helpful. I had the same question about why “Drop Dead Gorgeous” (2006 TV series, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0493383/...) says there were 11 episodes when it should say 10 . There is some empty garbage entry for a “promo” in an “unknown” season. It should probably be deleted, but it took me so long to get to this point that I’m not going to pursue it.
