Hullo,
There is something of a confusing situation going on with "Rebus" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0867015/) that I could use some help with.
First of all, these are two different TV shows, both called "Rebus", produced by STV, and based on the same books, but entirely different. The first one, starring John Hannah, was aired primarily in 2000 and 2001 with episode "Mortal Causes" held back until 2004. It is listed on that page as series one. The second show, starring Ken Stott, had a completely different cast (bar one actor) and production crew and also completely rebooted the series (starting with Inspector Rebus and his partner meeting for the first time, etc.). It aired in 2006 and 2007, had three seasons, and is listed as season two, three, and four on the page.
Thus, there are two issues present on the page:
1) The two shows should be listed separately.
2) If the two shows are to be merged (which seems illogical) then the title should read "Rebus" (2000 - 2007) and not "Rebus" (2000 - 2004) which relates only to the first series, as it does now.
Thanks for your help,
Mateja
