I remember that in the "my lists" page, by default the most recently modified lists are at the top. This is really very easy to navigate. However, since 2 or 3 months ago, they are list in the order that the most recently created lists are at the top by default. Since i have 20 lists, it's much harder to find the one I just recently modified. Well, I could use the "sort by" feature, and choose "modified", but somehow it doesn't work at all, basically nothing changes. It is only when I also change the "sort direction", then it changes, but this way, the mostly recently modified list are at the bottom, and frankly that's just is too much work every time I want to check my lists. Is this something that should be improved or are there some preferences that I'm not aware of and can fix it?

After using sort by Modifed, no change !!!

Aftering changing the sort direction. However, what i want is the whole thing upside down :(

This happened when they apparently had a problem with the lists - the sorting of the drop down menu from the Watchlist also changed at this time.

At the time I thought it was a stop-gap measure that allowed them to bring lists back with the slight loss of sorting. However, it has been this way for quite a while now.

What I'd like to see is a revamp of Your Lists that'd also include page views and the ability to sort by them, perhaps even with some list analytics thrown in (rate of visits, any popular site linking to it, , popular search engine queries, etc.).* However, they need to fix this sorting problem first (on Your Lists and Watchlists).

* List are an important way of driving traffic to IMDB (I have a number of lists that rank well in Google searches and get some decent traffic), so giving the list creators some way of analysing and improve these result will help the site in general

This continues to be an issue. Does the IMDb technical staff have an estimated time frame when this issue will be resolved?

Nope. They very rarely give out such time frames - it gets done when it gets done.

This is now all fixed and working nicely - including sorting the order Watchlist as you add items to the lists.

Good to see it all back up and working again.

Cheers
