I tried submitting movie connections regarding the films titled The Maltese Falcon to somewhere, but they don't seem to be doing so for some reason, not sure why those films can't be Movie Connected from what I can see.

The Maltese Falcon (1941) and The Maltese Falcon (1931) are already connected as "Versions Of" in the connection listings.
Are you trying to add those two movies to Maltese Falcon: One Magnificent Bird (2006) (V)?
If so, as Col says, what connection are you trying to add? Also, can you take a screenshot of the error that you are getting?
I just did a test and I'm able to add a "references" connection with no errors but without watching One Magnificent Bird, I'm unsure of the true relationship.
