The IMDb Support Community conversations reveal that many contributors find requesting an episode deletion extremely difficult, and this inconvenience has gone unremedied for a long time. Why is this?
One major reason is the conspicuous lack of a form where one is indicated in the Help Center's "Episode Guidelines". The final Guidelines section, "F. Deleting Episodes", states "To completely remove an episode from IMDb, please contact our Customer Service team using the form below." Unfortunately, there is no form—"below" or anywhere else on the Guidelines page; nor is there any link to a separate page containing said "form". So, one might ask, where is this form?
The answer—that deep, dark corner where IMDb hides this top-secret form is (drum roll, please)... here!: http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/report_titledeletion/.
Again and again, throughout the Community conversations, IMDb Employees, Official Reps, and "Champions" have responded to people asking how to delete episodes and other titles by providing a link to this elusive deletion-request form, even doing so individually numerous times. Let's put a stop to all these unnecessary requests for requests.
Please, restore the request form to the "Episode Guidelines" page or (more easily, probably) just change that Guidelines phrase "the form below" to a hyperlinked phrase like this form.
