Hello, we've submitted a
movie via Withoutabox to Lewiston Auburn Film Festival and got a message from
the Festival (via Withoutabox' Submission Status) - "Not Accepted".
We have submitted our movies to many Festivals via Withoutabox for a number of
years but never got a similar message. Can we get the entry fee back? Thanks

I think you would be better served to inquire here:  http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/wabsupport

I believe this is up to the festival. As I understand it, your Entry fee is paid to the Festival, not WithoutaBox. WaB does take a percentage, but the payment is not to them -- think of the fee that Visa or MasterCard takes from the payment you make to a merchant.

lol, are you serious? you really think you were going to get a refund if your film is not accepted? you really didnt think that did you? you pay a fee to join any film festival, the fee is non refundable... if they accept your film, you dont get your money back, and if they reject your film, you dont get your money back, its your investment or risk to submit to that festival... so choose the festivals wisely.
