About your policy to unsubscribe from emails.

Most well-designed successful websites have a “click here to unsubscribe from receiving emails.” So that a person wishing to no longer receive unwanted emails could simply click and unsubscribe from annoying emails.

Your “get satisfaction” site does not have such a simple click for the emails“ system. Instead it has a series of steps of ages that must be found with the promise that the emails will be stopped. I have tried to go through the process many times; the emails keep coming. None of the directions work.

I can’t get no satisfaction.

I think it would be friendly gesture to join other sites that have a simple “click here to unsubscribe from receiving emails” available.
Otherwise one might think that you really don’t want people to leave your wonderful sight. JR

To contact the Get Satisfaction company (provider of the overall forum interface), try visiting and using https://getsatisfaction.com/corp/help-center/submit-ticket/ or https://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfaction/topics/new?style=question, if possible. Otherwise, a message may have to be sent to <support@getsatisfaction.com> instead, and just for extra measure, FormCrafts is the one to notify of problems with using Get Satisfaction's aforementioned web-based contact means.

Hi Joe,

You mean you have reached your profile, then Email notifications, then untick all options, and are still receiving email notifications ?

I mean I have followed every instruction that you and other people on this site have given me to unsubscribe from emails. Non of them has ever worked. I assure you I have worked on many websites and have never found one to be as dysfunctional , in this respect, as this site. I could leave you a list of all my experiences through the last 35 years with Computers, but it may take up too much space. Thank you . And maybe one day, a one click on a “unsubscribe here” will appear on your site, maybe. JR

Joe,
I do not know to what extent GS is linked to IMDb. As far as I have noticed, IMDb is just a client of GS, and suffers from its bugs (Col Needham mentioned that he does not get notifications anymore, and that GS is aware of it...)

I'm trying to unsubscribe from your mail list for days, but without success. It is not normal for me to receive 15, sometimes 30, of you daily.
That is why I want to log out, that is, to be direct, I explicitly prohibit sending any mail to my address. Otherwise, you will be forced to report to the competent institutions
