Hi there,

The Top Rated Movies list (or Top 250) continuously updates based on ratings received from regular users. This means that the titles on the list may shift at any time, but are also likely to remain constant for periods of time, depending on the behavior of all of our users on IMDb.

Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

No no .. you dont get the point... the chart is not updated... I mean the votes submitted in the last 24 hours are not counted. Usually it get updated every 2 hours..

The IMDb weighted average for each title is updated numerous times per day. Can you please confirm which specific title(s) seem to not be updating, and provide us with further information?

Every title is not updated from about 30-hours ... Every title of the site. I think there is a problem. I have snapped the number of votes of 3 titles yesterday at 3pm CET and now they have all the same number of votes. Then I have looked other titles and all suffer the same issue. Look spider man or avengers infinity war or green book for example. These should have been the top rated movies for number of votes in the last days but don't have any new votes in the last 24 hours. Sounds strange don't you think ?

2019 is a year when Passover and Easter are the same dates among jewish and catholic traditions. It may be not a question to the IMDb working or not. I wonder, is somebody here demanding the human beings to keep on rating instead of celebrating?

so are you saying nobody watch movies during xmas, easter or halloween? sounds weird. same way I think that imdb doesn't have a battery of human that update the list of movies, instead it is an authomatic update so i don't think computers celebrate Easter.. that's why i think there is a problem somewhere inside the site

Hi honolulu styles,

Although it is likely that people continue to watch films during Christmas, Easter and other holidays, they may be less likely to access IMDb to rate the films they watch.

The problem is solved. Btw there was a problem because movies like spiderman that receive 1000 votes a day sounds strange that all of a sudden don't receive a single vote in a whole day. For each and every movie of the site...

Hi there,

Yes, my apologies for the delay in our response. The issue was confirmed and resolved by our engineers yesterday, and all ratings have now been updated accordingly.

Thanks so much for reporting this issue, and please let us know if we can offer any further help.
