I would like to see this information to check if there is an excellent series I've missed and which episodes are best within that series.
Should be easy to implement.

Thanks, yes, these features already exist.

The Top Rated TV list is available at http://www.imdb.com/chart/toptv/ and can be reached via the "Movies, TV, Showtimes" menu on any IMDb page.  You can also generate more customised top rated TV lists via advanced search at http://www.imdb.com/search/title

To see top rated episodes there is a box on the right hand side of every TV series page labelled "Top Rated Episodes" for example from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Col! I can't find this box - there's nothing on the right side...
I can access the rating list through the link in the "overview" section in the left sidebar, though -- it's just not as pretty as this screenshot :-)

I wonder if you have the old reference view enabled? Details on how to turn it off are shown in Dan's reply on https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/reference-view-will-not-disable (this view is some 7+ years out of date so is not recommended as it lacks all of IMDb's latest features).

No, it was disabled. I now found out that these links are not in the combined view of the series as a whole, but in the episode list.
Thanks for helping me out, great to learn these features (that were new to me).

Hi Peter,

As a follow up to what Col posted:
The link that Col posted for Breaking Bad (2008–2013) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/) is the main view.
The top ranked episodes are not available for the:
combined view (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/combined) or the reference view (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/reference). The combined view is also a older IMDb display format.

Please view your Site Preference page (https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/siteprefs).
* If you have "Always display full cast and crew credits" checked, the display format will default to the combined view.
* If you have "Show reference view (old title/name page layout)" check, the display format will default to the reference view.
* If you have both check, the display format will default to the combined view.

You will not be able to view the main view if either of these two boxes are checked.

Yes, "Always display full cast and crew credits" was checked. I removed it and now it displays as I wanted.

Hey can someone tell me why the top-rated episodes don't show on this series page:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098737/?ref_=tt_ov_inf
Thanks in advance.

IMDb may require a minimum number of votes for episodes for the top-rated episodes to be shown on the main view. As you can see from the link shown below, none of the episodes have more than 18 ratings.

Alfred J. Kwak
Episodes Rated by IMDb User Rating
Rated Episodes
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098737/eprate

In general, you can see the "Episodes Rated by IMDb User Rating for Rated Episodes" for any television series title by appending "eprate" to the link for the main view.

In this case the main view for Alfred J. Kwak is
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098737/

This sounds like a very cute television series. I noticed that the show is available in Dutch, German and Spanish.

You can also access the episode ratings page by clicking the "Explore More" link on the right hand side of any TV series page (highligthed in red here):

and then see the "TV" section where there are two links:

So exactly how many episodes is the minimum for the Top-rated ones to be shown on the main page? 50? 100?

Interesting that they are shown on the page of this series even though they only have an average of 6 votes:

Ok, they're shown now for Alfred J. Kwak.
Maybe because I added a plot to them all.. weird..
