Hi,

the Top News on the website are broken. When you click on a tab (Movie/TV/Celebrity News) it doesn't switch the view, but redirects you to a new site instead. It doesn't seem to be a browser specific problem, since I tried it with multiple browsers.

Hi Massimo,

Thanks for your post.

The Top News section appears to be working as expected when testing:

These links re-direct you to:

https://www.imdb.com/news/movie
https://www.imdb.com/news/tv
https://www.imdb.com/news/celebrity

If you can please try this on another computer and let us know if this issue persists or let us know if you're seeing this issue elsewhere so we can look into this further for you.

Thanks,

Joel

As already mentioned by others in this thread, the current behavior is not very convenient.
I use to visit imdb every day, switch through all (usually) 4 tabs and open the stories I‘d like to read. This new behavior means that from now on I‘ll just check the first tab, since scrolling on a new page takes to much time and the result is me reading less stories. I hope this is going to be reverted back to the old behavior.

It is not broken. The behavior of those tabs has been changed and is working as expected.

Is there any way to opt back into the old format? It was far more convenient to just be able to click through the tabs to see if any headlines looked interesting instead of having to go to an entirely new page and having to scroll through every individual article that takes up more space and time for people who don't use a mouse with a scroll wheel.

That's very sad. Since you changed the behavior, I'm spending less time on your site. As Denise mentioned, I used to click through all of the tabs and there were at least 2-3 articles I was interested in. Now I do just check the only remaining "tab" with its 4 articles and leave. I hope someday you're going back to the previous, better behavior.
