Track the status of a name correction

I recently made a correction to the name of a Malayalam film director. But in Contribution History, Track Contribution button is missing! I checked Contribution History (Beta) and it's missing there too!

So, how do I track the status of a name correction?

That's a tough one. Hopefully they'll add them to the new (beta) page soon.

In the meanwhile, about the best I've figured is to watch the Processing Times page, Name Merges, and see if the date of your contribution is older than the date of items they still have in queue.

Right now it says 6June.

I think they take more time with these, and I'm glad that's true.

As noted at the top of the Contribution History (Beta) page:

"Note: Certain types of contributions do not currently appear on this page, including contributed awards, companies, title and name corrections, title and name merges, connections, and cast/crew completeness. This is a known issue, and we will update on Get Satisfaction when it has been addressed."

Right now, you cannot track a name correction and it will either go live or not. Name corrections can take a while and you can check whether your item has been processed by monitoring the data processing time page.
