Jimmie: You can definitely get this fixed, although I want to make sure that we have all the credits for each person cleared up.
1. Is all the data on the page of
Jack Wagner (V) true for that person, even though some of his credits are missing from that page? In other words, was that Jack Wagner born in 1925 and died in 1995, and all the credits on that page, and the trivia of him as the voice of Disney and the Orlando airport shuttles, are his rather than anybody else's?
2. Which credits on the page of
Jack Wagner (II) belong to Jack Wagner (V) (1925-1995)? You wrote that you wanted to leave all the credits on that page between 1936 and 1947 with Jack Wagner (II), but Jack Wagner (II) was born in 1897, which would make him seemingly too old for some of the roles listed there. That would have him playing a Trainee in
Undercover Maisie in 1947 at age 52, a Cadet in
Best Foot Forward in 1943 at age 46, Jack - Journalism Student in
Nancy Drew... Reporter in 1939 at age 42, and a Kid in
Peck's Bad Boy with the Circus in 1938 at age 41. Perhaps some of those credits (and perhaps others listed there too) belong to Jack Wagner (V), who was 28 years younger than Jack Wagner.
In any event, though, here is the principle of how to correct the credits, and once you are sure which credits need to be corrected, you can submit the corrections.
Go to the page of Jack Wagner (II) and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Actor Credits line, select "Correct/Delete". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, in the menu to the left of every credit that needs to be moved to Jack Wagner (V), select "Correct". Then, in the gray bar below the last credit listed,
there will be a checkbox labeled "Show name?". Check that box. This is very important. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will see that the names that are being corrected are editable. For each of those names, change the roman numeral so that the name will be:
Wagner, Jack (V)Also, check the box marked "provide an explanation to assist in processing this change" for each credit you are correcting. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, there will be an Explanation box for each of the credits you are correcting. In that box, enter something like "This role was played by Jack Wagner (V), not Jack Wagner (II)." If you have any evidence to prove that, include that in the explanation.
Also, you may get warnings along the following lines: "'Wagner, Jack (V)' has a long gap in their career.
This person first worked in this category in 1966 which is 10+ years away from ... [the year of the credit]. Are you certain this is the same person? ..." Each time you see that, check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, the credits you are correcting should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click the "Submit these updates" button.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

Regarding your questions in Item 1: Yes, all the data on the page of Jack Wagner (V) is true for that person. I was pretty sure of the Major Dad role because it involved an announcer, so I found the video on youtube, and now I'm certain it's him in a voice-only role. There is a picture of Jack at https://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6040 - and he appears to be the same person as Jack Wagner (II). Additionally, there is both a voice of Disney reference and an Ozzie and Harriet reference on the page.
Regarding your question in Item 2: I've viewed over 90% of the entries from 1952 forward, and they should be for Jack Wagner (V) rather than Jack Wagner (II). The remaining 10% are all roles that Jack would typically play. If you're familiar with his announcer and soda jerk roles on Ozzie and Harriet, you should be able to tell he was born closer to 1925 [Jack Wagner (V)] than 1897 [Jack Wagner (II)]. I have not viewed the 13 entries from 1936-1947, but I think you make some good points in suggesting some of those roles should also be merged with Jack Wagner (V).
I'm presently withholding a submission, until I process the merge. It involves a 1973 episode of Ozzie's Girls (a spinoff of Ozzie and Harriet), in which Jack plays a role. Kind of hard to do, after one has been dead for 8 years. Here's the video. He's introduced in the very first scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSVeMPjzwD8
At this time, I only feel comfortable merging what seems certain, and I'll try to verify the 1936-1947 roles later.

You don't need to wait before submitting the "Ozzie's Girls" role for Jack Wagner (V). The Jack Wagner (V) page is merely incomplete now; it doesn't have two people's work mixed together, so adding additional credits to that page doesn't cause any problems.
I wouldn't call what you are doing a "merge"; you are correcting some roles from one name page to another name page, but you aren't merging the two pages together.
Thanks for working on this.
