Apart from the Quiz that imdb already has I would love to see a feature/function where users would be able to create their own trivia games similar to the list function.

Recently I wanted to test my Seinfeld knowledge and started browsing around the web for a good trivia quiz of some kind. I noticed, that there are a only a few moderately satisfying websites around for something like that but pretty much all of them seemed to lack a regular user base/enough material to keep me satisfied for very long.

So I thought imdb seems like a perfect place to fill this "niche". If anyone is interested I already have a lot of ideas to make this work so it is enjoyable. For example: apart from rating a quiz there could be difficulty levels which are assigned by the creators and then adjusted by the users. Just a simple question like: "too hard? or too easy".

So basically a user created quiz instead of the automatically generated ones they have? Sounds good to me. I've never really liked the ones they have now very much.

This is an interesting idea.Like many great ideas, working out the details will be the hard part.

IMDb has a Trivia and Quiz Games message board. That board is dedicated to playing trivia games. You may wish to discuss your ideas on that board and mention you made a suggestion on IMDb's Get Satisfaction site.

IMDb has recently reconstituted the IMDb poll. If you have not already done so, you may wish to vote in some of these polls and/or suggest one of your own on the IMDb Poll message board.

Hi Dan,
thanks for your tips, I appreciate it.
I have really no idea how the chances are for something like that to gain enough attention and maybe even get implemented but I always had the feeling that (imdb) tried to encourage people into providing feedback while actually listening to them.
Otherwise I probably wouldn't even bother to try.
