I am have a hard time understanding why it is so hard to create a new Title called "The Weekend" and not have it merge with a simular title despite selecting NEW Title.

I need to have the page correct for marketing of the film and it continues to be messed up.

This sounds like you needed to add a roman numeral to the submission since there's another project with the same title in the IMDb.

So to differentiate a similar title with the same release year, you'll need to type the title as the following (as an example): The Weekend (2015/II)

Hope this helps.

FYI: I'm not an IMDb employee, just a contributor.

Hi Paul -

When submitting a new title that has the same name/year as an existing title already listed on the site, as GMJ suggested, you should be submitting the new title with the applicable roman numeral to distinguish between the two.

In the meantime, has your new title already been merged with an existing title?  If so, please post the IMDb title URL here and our staff will take a look.

HI I am hvaing the same problem with my title - all our content was merged into an existing title and I have been waiting for it to be corrected. our url is
https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt4726270?rf=cons_tt_meter&ref_=cons_tt_meter

I am going to start again and use Elle (2015/II) as suggested above
thanks
