I directed a short film in 2013 that was a proof-of-concept piece for a feature film. I wasn't able to turn it into a film, but I did adapt the first act into a web series that I launched in 2015. When making season 2, I decided to re-edit the entire project and turn it into a feature film at long last. Because I am submitting the film to festivals, I don't want anyone to get confused. I want the 2016 movie listing to be the only listing for that title. I am having immense difficulty getting this sorted

Daniel: A title doesn't have to currently exist to be listed in IMDb. Think of all the silent films that were destroyed and television shows that were wiped long before IMDb existed, yet are listed in IMDb because enough information is known about them to establish that they once existed.
