Turning off emails

Is there way to turn off emails for "IMDb update receipt"? I contribute a lot and it gets annoying with them emails.

Unfortunately, the Update receipt e-mails you receive are automatic and you cannot opt out of receiving those. If you are a frequent contributor and don't want your inbox to be cluttered with submission receipts, I would suggest that you filter those e-mails into a separate e-mail folder.

I'm not sure why you would want to turn them. It is the only actual record of the changes you made. Your contribution history isn't really accurate once the changes are made. Also, you could set up an email filter to process these emails automatically so you aren't notified.
