Acting for productions other than for film, television programs and video games are list in other works. Other works includes television commercials, stage acting and voice acting for radio and audio books.

Here are two examples:

Stephanie Courtney plays Flo in the Progressive Insurance commercials.

Melanie Paxson is in many well known commercials including commercials for Red Robin.

Information for production companies is limited on IMDb.com. More detailed information is available through IMDbPro, a subscription service.

Here is the IMDb listing for Progress Insurance.

The IMDb Pro information for Progress Insurance is not public information and cannot be included here.

Hi jimbo,

ispot.tv is a very interesting company. It is a modern day Neilsen Rating service (http://www.nielsen.com/us/en/solutions/measurement/television.html). What ispot.tv does is not complementary to what IMDb does.

What we do

We are the go-to platform for Brands, Agencies, Networks, Actors and Developers to track in real-time paid TV media and related earned digital activity across social, search & video.

ispot.tv is technology start up company which has been in operation for three years. It is unclear when they will have their Initial Public Offering (IPO) of stock.

iSpot.tv raises $5M, looks to provide better advertising insights by analyzing 35,000 TV commercials by John Cook on October 8, 2013 at 7:00 am

...

iSpot.tv charges anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 per month for its service, which uses audio and video fingerprinting technologies to monitor, tag and analyze TV commercials in real time. That sort of market intelligence can be pure gold for marketers, allowing them to track competitors or gain insights into specific ad campaigns. The iSpot.tv technology can also help marketers figure out when and where commercials are running, and how much is being spent. For example, ESPN could monitor which ad campaigns are shifting to NBC Sports.

The Bellevue-based company also has technologies to analyze how consumers interact with TV ads. ...

IMDB is ideally positioned in the search engines to displace ispot.tv, and subsequently shift the revenue stream to IMDB. I am just pointing out that IMDB is passing up a good revenue opportunity. I would rather view my favorite TV commercials at IMDB than visit ispot.tv. I think the two services could be very complementary, since ispot.tv is also an information resource about actors and production companies.

ispot.tv is located in Bellevue, Washington. They are very close to Microsoft, Amazon.com (IMDb's parent company) and Boeing. Any one of these three companies could have provided the original Angel venture capital for ispot.tv. For all we know, Jeff Bezos (Founder and CEO of Amazon.com) is an adviser or on the board of directors for ispot.tv.

Neither you nor I are in a position to advise Amazon.com and IMDb the markets they should pursue.
