I wish to bring to the attention of IMDb Staff this problem. Yes, it is very much a problem due to a glitch in my view, because there was no way these two titles could have received such a large number of votes all of a sudden.
If this confuses you, allow me me explain:
I have been monitoring the number of user ratings for Indian films from the 20th century for over a year now. Two titles: Afsana Dilwalon Ka and Dilwaala which were nowhere near receiving even 100 user votes have all of a sudden showing over a 1000 user votes in the past few weeks. This either looks like a glitch in the IMDb's vote collection system or a case of vote stuffing. I doubt if it's the latter: neither of these films boast of big stars with huge fanbases on IMDb. If it was the fans' doing, it should have shown simultaneously across all the works of the associated artists. Since these two are isolated cases, the possibility of a glitch is more.
Please look into this problem as soon as possible.
