I wish to bring to the attention of IMDb Staff this problem. Yes, it is very much a problem due to a glitch in my view, because there was no way these two titles could have received such a large number of votes all of a sudden.

If this confuses you, allow me me explain:

I have been monitoring the number of user ratings for Indian films from the 20th century for over a year now. Two titles: Afsana Dilwalon Ka and Dilwaala which were nowhere near receiving even 100 user votes have all of a sudden showing over a 1000 user votes in the past few weeks. This either looks like a glitch in the IMDb's vote collection system or a case of vote stuffing. I doubt if it's the latter: neither of these films boast of big stars with huge fanbases on IMDb. If it was the fans' doing, it should have shown simultaneously across all the works of the associated artists. Since these two are isolated cases, the possibility of a glitch is more.

Please look into this problem as soon as possible.

Thank you,
An IMDb Contributor.

Everything we can say on voting is covered in the FAQ @ http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?votestopfaq

There is no glitch in the voting system.  Please note from the FAQ:
Who can vote on movies and TV shows?
IMDb registered users can cast a vote (from 1 to 10) on every released title in the database. Users can vote as many times as they want but every vote will overwrite the previous one so it is one vote per title per user.

But can you at least endeavour to research this matter a bit further rather than brushing off my genuine observation and concern in this automated manner? Considering that your site lists me as a top contributor and offered me a free Pro account just on the strength of my data contributions, I daresay I deserve some hearing in this matter.
