You need a Name that's already on IMDb.
Is this the Name you're trying to add:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9763834/
If so, I would copy/paste the name id into the Actor field of that contribution: nm9763834

Thanks, however that's not them. B Block B is a 7 member band.

AR-99: It looks like the problem is that, to the IMDb software, the name "Block B" looks like the name of a person with a one-letter last name, which is usually not accepted (even though it is actually the name of a group).

If you submitted the name as "Block B." with a period at the end, which would wind up being entered as "B., Block", that would be accepted, because using a period after an initial is accepted by the database. However, that is not the correct spelling of the group's name.

I recommend that you wait for an IMDb staffer to respond and see if they will get the name processed and entered in its correct spelling.

(As an unrelated note, I see that you have the group's character name on this show listed as "Block B". Since the show is a talk show, I wonder if they were appearing as themselves, rather than as fictional, scripted versions of themselves. If they were actually appearing as themselves, their character name should be "Themselves". Only if they were appearing in a fictional, scripted situation should their character name be "Block B".)
