Hi Sean,

Have you confirmed that your mobile data is current connected? For example have you opened your phones browser when not connected  to wifi and confirmed you are able to load pages? Next, have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the IMDb iOS application to see if that resolves the issue?

Finally, if none of the above  works can you please provide your device model, currently installed iOS version, as well as currently installed IMDb application  version so that we may investigate this further?

Best,
Kurt

Hello Kurt, my phone and all the other apps work perfectly fine. I can access my Tivo, Facebook, Instagram, etc etc both on and off of wifi. I have an iPhone 6s +, iOS 10.3.1 , with the imdb version is 7.9 -- everything is up to date.
Fingers crossed !

Thanks for the additional information Sean.

Can you tell me what happens when you attempt to launch the IMDb application when not connected via Wi-Fi. Does the App open? If so do photos/titles and/or news load on the front page? Providing this information will also assist us in investigating this further.

Best,
Kurt

Hi Sean and Matt,

Our technical team believes that the Cellular data option may be disabled for the IMDb iOS application on your devices. To check and/or remedy this please attempt the following; Go to the device settings on your iOS device, find the IMDb application listed in settings then ensure that 'Cellular Data' is listed and checked as green (on).

Let us know if this resolve what you have encountered or if your cellular setting under the application settings is already listed as enabled/on.

Best,
Kurt

Jeebus, what a crazy thing for the iPhone to have defaulted to off!
That solved the problem. Thanks a lot!
