I was trying to correct a bunch of credits and I get unable to verify as a reason for declining. All someone needs to do is read.
I know the bot did this, but the bot shouldn't be allowed to give such a response on these.

Hi MikeTheWhistle,

Thanks for getting in touch and providing the submission references.

I've re-reviewed these and they're OK to approve - as a result, I've done so now.

Thanks for your support.

Mike they usually "Unfollow" Posts after it is marked solved.
You are better off using the https://help.imdb.com/contact method, if you really want an answer. They will likely not reply in a public forum in a sufficient manor. One that answers you query.

The problem is that for some reason it doesn't seem I'm getting contact us messages. And to be honest, the responses I did get from them were always confusing.

What's interesting now that I think of it typing this, it seems that since I posted the message about the problem with not having the full category options on contact us I've stopped getting messages from them. I wonder if the two are related.

I had to pester them with several e-mails (30) on one topic a year ago, before a resolution took place 3 months later.
Good luck.

They've just about got me to giving up. With having had over 500 film credits rejected and not given a reason imdb has finally sucked the life out of me I think. I had been fixing/adding links, adding photo tags, etc but I've gone days now without submitting anything and have no urge to submit anything.
If I'd just get a reason I'd probably been a little more happy, but I don't see that coming.

I sure hope a staffer will respond to this...
