I've voted for many films & TV shows in the past, but can't vote anymore after imdb changed their look & format. As soon as the cursor enters the voting area with the empty stars for clicking, the stars all disappear. There's no way for me to keep them visible long enough to click one. I'm using the latest Mac Operating System & the Latest version of Safari. How do I vote?

We have not made any recent changes to voting from title pages, sorry.  This sounds like a local problem, Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-brow... and let us know what happens.

If the problem persists, please can you upload a screen-grab illustrating the problem.

The stars also disappear when my cursor enters the voting area on the rating page. I, too, am using a new mac desktop. I can only vote by clicking a numbered star on the main title page. Using a Safari browser.

Thanks for confirming so this is not a local problem after all. We will open a ticket to investigate further.

An extra clarification -- you can vote on the main title page, say, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6225520/ but you cannot vote on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6225520/ratings so it's only the new ratings sub-page which is the problem? What version of Safari and Mac OS do you have?

Col Needham- Thanks for your reply. I do have an Ad Blocker; I turned it off, then quit & restarted Safari, but it made no difference. After more careful study, I find that if I click the blue star to enter a rating & move the cursor straight to the right, the rating window closes immediately. However, if I click the blue star to enter a rating & move the cursor down below the blank stars & then to the right, & then up to the blank stars, I can enter a rating. This issue exists with the Safari browser using Mac OS 10.12.6 & OS 13.1, but the issue does not exist with my Chrome bowser (where I can move the cursor straight to the right & still be able to vote). So it would appear to be an issue with imdb & the Safari browser.

Thanks for confirming the details.  We have been unable to reproduce the problem here on multiple Mac devices. It must be local to your system, sorry.

Col Needham- (Re: "An extra clarification -- you can vote on the main title page")- that is correct. I can vote on the new ratings sub-page only if I go through the mouse contortions I mentioned in my prior post. But I can vote on the main title page as always, without a problem.

This should be fixed now (it's a known bug in Safari which we had to code around).  Thanks again for the problem report.
