When on my "Your Ratings" page, clicking on "Export This List" takes me to an inane 404 page with a stupid movie quote.

IMDb has lost the plot. Movie quotes and use of GetSatisfaction to "report" problems are not helping. And what on earth is Withoutabox??? God knows.

Just fix my rating export problem please. Okay?

I was able to export my ratings list about a week ago. So this must be recent bug

I get the 404 error no matter how I set my ratings list.

Fortunately, there is a workaround until the IMDb technical staff corrects the problem. Unfortunately, this will be tedious, and even more tedious if a user has rated more than 250 films.

1. Create a temporary list. For this example let's call it my_ratings.
2. Optional: make the temporary list private.
3. Save the temporary list.
4. Go to your ratings page.
5. Select the compact view by clicking on the third box adjacent to "view:"
6. Click on the box under the "Remove" button.
7. Make certain the first drop down box says "Copy to"
8. In the second drop down box select the temporary list. In our case that would be my_ratings.
9. Click the "Go" button.
10. If there is a next page, go to the next page and repeat steps 5 through 10.
11. Go to your temporary list, i.e. my_ratings.
12. Click "Export this list"
13. Optional: Delete the temporary list.

Certainly this is rather time consuming doing thirteen steps instead of only one.

If you've got multiple pages you could be in for as many as 300 clicks rather than the 1. now that's time consuming. Why not just fix the export list button so that it works for lists of all sizes.
