Uncredited actor in every episode of a series

I notice that every episode of "Howards' Way" (1985) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0134250/combined has an uncredited actor Cole Henderson ...  Yachtsman. This looks very much as if someone has decided that because he may have appeared in some episodes, and they don't know which, they will submit him for every episode.

Should the listing left as it is, or should that entry be removed as being unreliable and possibly "saturation coverage"?

I would say it needs to be fixed but in order to do that, you would have to watch Howards' Way and see which episode(s) a Yachtsman could possibly have been credited in.

Given that the whole series is about yachting and a yacht-building company, I think there's a fair bet that there could be uncredited yachters in the background of many outdoor scenes in many episodes. :-) That's a bit of a bummer.

Martin: Although I was a bit skeptical of this claim at first, I notice that Cole Henderson has a bunch of photos on his IMDb page. So my recommendation would be to check the first episode of the series and see if he is clearly visible on screen. The criteria for uncredited work say:
For cast/acting appearances, you must be identifiable and featured on-screen in the final released cut of the title. In other words, it's not enough to have worked on a production: your scenes must be included in the final cut and it must be possible to easily identify your appearance (i.e. background work as a crowd member or a similar role where it is impossible to recognize the subject are not eligible).
If someone can only be seen from a distance and a viewer can't tell whether it is that person or not, then they are not entitled to an uncredited listing in IMDb.

If Cole Henderson is clearly visible in, say, the first two episodes, I would give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he should be listed in the rest of the episodes unless and until I found out otherwise. On the other hand, if he is not clearly visible in the first two episodes, I would request deletion of all his uncredited listings for that show since at least some of them cannot be verified.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
