I'm trying to add Gary Owens https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0654365/?ref_=nv_sr_2?ref_=nv_sr_2 to episode 580 of Sunset Beach. He appeared as the voice of the Soap Opera Announcer but was uncredited like all other guest cast. However. Imdn refuses to accept the submission because the guidelines does not allow uncredited voice appearences. However, this seems not to be a rule set in stone. You say that you make exceptions for "high-profile actors". What counts as a "high profile actor"? If you take Gary Owens himself as an example, he has so much as 23 uncredited voice appearences listed on his profile. If you take Sunset Beach, there are already three uncredited voice cast members.
Jim Hanks as Spike https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0360028/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1
Joey Dedio as Baby Trey Deschanel https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0214114/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1
Al Chaek as God https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0149520/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1
These three above I myself added as late as in March this year and then there were no problems
If you google search "voice, uncredited imdb" you get sevral results. Among other Edmund Purdom in Guiseppe Verdi https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0700803/
Hans Lindgren in Pippi Långstrump https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0511826/
Sean Bean in Level Up Norge https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000293/
So this makes me wonder if this is some newly incorporated rule. Otherwise, how are you reasoning?
