IMDb Should have Film/Stage name of Actors under their real name, this way when directors or producers do a search under Film/Stage name they will be found. Hope this suggestion helps IMDb to be better.

TThey do already, well they always have them under one consistent name for each individual.

The "name" used is determined by whoever first submits them

But people can certainly be found by searching their stage name(s)

The stage name is usually the primary name, e.g. Woody Allen or Martin Sheen. IMDb's rule is that the name used in credits should be the primary name.

Do you have examples where this is not the case?

I agree, as long as it applies only to stage names/names changed for professional reasons (and not for example transgender people or others who changed their names for personal reasons and have no IMDb history under their original name).
