Update film status without being a PROmember

Hello, I need to update the production status of my film from development to distribution. I can not access to the editing page because, apparently, I need to become a Pro member, which I did not need to when I first created the film entry. How can I update the info of my film without becoming a Pro member? Thank you very much!

If you can give a link to your film someone will be able to have a look and help.

How to update a titles Production Status

To update your production status, please follow these simple instructions:

1) Locate the title on IMDb (for films in active production) or IMDbPro.com (if the project is still in development).

2) Click on the "Edit Page" button on the bottom of its title page.

3) Select the "Add item" field next to "Production / Development Status" in the "Other Data" section and click on "Continue"

4) Choose the title's current status (i.e. "pre-production", "filming", etc.) from the drop down menu.

5) If the status is the same, then submit the same status again. This lets us know that the project has not been abandoned. You can also add a comment with more information, but please be aware that the comment will be displayed on the title's page. Click on "Check these updates"

6) Submit the data by clicking on 'Submit these updates'.

Since you are in the "in development stage" you will need Pro. no way around it.

IMDbPro is not required to update the development status (as far as most of the options in the selection of statuses go), but the history/log of development status updates can only be viewed via IMDbPro. I'm not sure if reversions (such as in cases when incorrect updates were previously made) are clearly reflected in the interfaces at all for IMDb non-staff, meaning that the incorrect information (repudiated after the fact) may be removed altogether from the presentation of the records.

As you can now see the page may be edited by you now. There is an "Edit page" button. So if you have changes to make you may do them.
