I've tried uploading an image, which is a news clipping of the band I was in back in the '60s to an episode of the Red Skelton Show. IMDB identifies the band and the members, but there are no images. The news clipping has a photo of the band from the actual show and identifies the band and the members and the show in the article. Why wouldn't they want something historical like that?

You can upload it to the episode and tag it with the appropriate names. Then a google search for images of the band will (eventually) show the image you upload.

As it says here:

How do I add a headshot or other images to an IMDb name page?
The "Add Image" option is only available on IMDb title pages (i.e. movies, TV shows, TV episodes, video games, etc.).  Adding images to name pages requires an IMDbPro membership.
And the Pro membership is canceled, the images go away.
