User reviews

Fail - worse - less than:  who are the idiots making decisions for IMDB the last year?  first lets anger huge %'s of our user base by arbitrarily obliterating message boards.  check.  ok, now lets make writing reviews less functional for people who enjoy that.  check.  is the goal to drive people away?  just because IMDB has a monopoly on this data now, doesn't mean they can't be destroyed by someone who does it better.  if a new movie website started with a stripped down look, basic/functional interface, open community atmosphere that catered to its user base?  i would go there and completely abandon IMDB that day
