I would have been delighted to appear in some large Hollywood movie by accident, but that's just my humble opinion. Still, if they had a permit to film in the public place and/or got away with that there were no way they could have asked each and single human on the street whether they want to appear in the movie.
Since I film my own no-budget endeavours on the streets, I hope that people won't hold a grudge if they discover that they were featured. It's not like I specifically filming them (and if I do in some fascinating cases I go extra mile to try and ask whether I can use the footage).

Actually, around this time I was approached by a PA, young girl, that treated me like I was mentally challenged and offered me a $1 (like I was 3) if I singed a paper.
But, no, it was not random crowd shooting. They selected specific individuals for close-ups, like mine.
I did what I could to always stay out of the way when they shot there. In this shot I stopped and played in the can trying to keep my face out of camera line. I had no idea I was the intended target of this shot. Not random people and cars walking. No signs stating any foot traffic will be used. A specific targeting of homeless people with the specific intent to increase the impact and profitability of the movie.
On another afternoon i passed Barry, thinking he was just setting up future shots, and told him in no uncertain terms to shoot or use my likeness.
After the movie every homeless person in the movie was targeted by a neo-Nazi private Police unit consisting of off-duty LASD deputies. They dragged people into alleys and caught people just out of the public eye and threatened them. If that didn't work they arrested them on bogus charges until they left.
Funny, I asked another person years later if they signed anything. He became clear (yes, he was mentally unstable) as he looked at me and said, "Who cares, it was a bomb."

I'm unsure of the question, why do I get so few views? I must not be liked. If I knew maybe I could fix it.

It's more of a rhetorical question, I guess: I can't help but ask one whenever I encounter awesome content with extremely low viewcount.

Always wanted to clarify: in situations like that when people are technically filmed as themselves but then it is presented as part of the fictional world, wouldn't it be more covenient to list them akin to "Man on the Street"? Otherwise it will continue to create precedents of people portraying fictionalized versions of themselves listed as "Himself" where they should be put into "Actor" section.
